Artistic approach

In creating these three films, I wanted to revisit classic movies by transforming them into a unique and original work. I started by selecting the scenes I wanted to highlight to create a new story. Then, I manipulated the files to create transitions and repetition effects that distort the image, pushing it to the brink of legibility.

The goal of this project was to create an ecstatic vision that can only be achieved through glitches. It reminds me of my youth, when I made the mistake of sticking a magnet on an old cathode ray television at my grandmother's house. I didn't know what I was doing at the time, but I remember being awestruck by the beauty of the images forming in front of me. All those glitches, those surreal colors in perfect overlapping layers marked my life. With this project, I sought to reconnect with this secret memory and share my unique vision with the world.
