Invasion

My artistic approach is to create photomontages of the city of Metz, incorporating characters from video games and elements of glitches, which symbolize for me systemic corruption. By using black and white images of the real city and coherently integrated colored elements from the virtual world, I aim to enhance the duality between these two spaces that coexist and blend.

Video games have had a great influence on my life, that's why I wanted to pay tribute to these characters who have been a part of my daily routine, with whom I spent many hours and experienced great adventures. By integrating them into familiar places in Metz, I am also realizing an impossible fantasy, that of bringing a little video-game magic into a daily life often tarnished by routine.
